A Look at Misty Productions
Artist and owner Betty Segner started Misty Productions in 1991, focusing on reproduction American colonial and folk art painted pieces. She now makes artwork on canvas, wood, and more in a variety of styles, from colonial and country to modern and whimsical. Her floor cloths, place mats, music stands, wood pieces, and murals can be found in home décor across the United States. While Betty has a number of her own designs available for purchase, she also welcomes requests and custom orders.

Diamond Floor Cloth
A pattern found often in European and early American flooring, diamonds were frequently painted on canvas coverings in lieu of or to protect expensive tile, marble, and wood floors.

One of Betty’s most beloved designs, this floor cloth is popular not only with cat parents but with those who have a penchant for folk art and country styles.

This design was very popular during the American colonial era, and Betty has made these canvas floor cloths for personal home décor, historic houses, and museums.
Painted Music Stand
Many of Betty’s pieces are inspired by music and, about 20 years ago, she began to design artwork directly on music stands. Customers have said that they make practicing a bit more fun!

Betty paints marble veining onto this canvas floorcloth and each hand made piece is unique. Though this one 40 x 30 inches, Betty has also created room-size variations to mimic a stone floor.
